The Leon Gurvitch Ensemble, featuring jazz singer Alexandra Rotmann, performed a diverse musical program at the Max-Reger-Halle in Weiden. The concert, hosted by the Jewish Community of Weiden, blended various genres including Klezmer, jazz, tango, and musical classics.

The repertoire included works by Kurt Weill and George Gershwin, alongside melodies from the musical ‘Fiddler on the Roof’. The performance also featured tango compositions by Astor Piazzolla. The event received significant audience engagement, including standing ovations during the intermission, and was described by Mayor Stephan Gollwitzer as a ‘bombastic concert evening’.
