Leon Hesby pursues music and acting projects amid Patrick Bruel scandal

Leon Hesby, the younger son of French singer Patrick Bruel, is building his own entertainment career while his father faces multiple sexual assault investigations. Hesby has released the single “Rooftop Of Your House” and performed at the Los Angeles Music Festival, where he also opened for Marine, the winner of Star Academy season 12, at the Festival des Sables. He announced a June 21 concert in Los Angeles and says he will focus on a series of singles rather than an album, noting that “albums don’t sell like they used to.”

Hesby is also training as an actor, having attended the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles and planning to attend casting calls for film roles. He described his education as “method acting” that teaches him to understand a character through both body and mind.

Despite the media attention surrounding his father’s alleged crimes, Leon Hesby is intent on forging a separate path in music and film.
