Leon Windscheid recalls winning one million euros on game show

Psychologist and ZDF moderator Leon Windscheid recently discussed his experience winning one million euros on the game show ‘Wer wird Millionär?’ during an appearance on Barbara Schöneberger’s podcast, ‘Mit den Waffeln einer Frau’.

Windscheid, now 37, recalled that his participation in the 2015 RTL show was originally a spontaneous idea from his shared apartment. He revealed that he had prepared intensely for three months, studying ten hours a day, to reach his initial goal of 32,000 euros.

Reflecting on the final moment, Windscheid described the pressure of the million-euro question asked by host Günther Jauch, which concerned the number of pieces in a classic Rubik’s Cube. He noted the dilemma of deciding whether to risk the win or walk away with 500,000 euros.
