Leonard Fournette and Emmanuel Acho feud over Caleb Williams injury

Former NFL players Leonard Fournette and Emmanuel Acho have engaged in a heated online dispute following Acho’s criticism of Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. The tension began after Williams was seen crying and fist-pumping while being carted off the field due to a hamstring injury during a game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Acho criticized Williams’ emotional reaction, stating that crying on a cart is typically reserved for season-ending or career-ending injuries. In response, Fournette defended Williams’ right to cope with injury and accused Acho of making controversial statements for clickbait. The dispute escalated on social media and podcasts, with Fournette calling Acho a ‘clown’ and issuing physical threats, including the suggestion of a boxing match.

Despite the initial concern regarding the injury, Bears coach Ben Johnson indicated that Williams is considered ‘week to week’ and is expected to return later this season.
