Leonardo Del Vecchio ordered to give daughter to mother Sara Soldati
A Milan civil court judge, Valentina Maderna, ruled that Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio must hand over his one‑year‑old daughter to the child's mother, model and influencer Sara Soldati, after a 20‑day separation. The order followed a petition filed by Soldati’s lawyers, Annamaria Bernardini de Pace and Luca Procaccini, asserting the mother’s right to custody.
Del Vecchio’s legal team contested the decision, arguing that video evidence presented by Soldati was obtained through manipulative tactics. They cited a sworn statement from Kornelia Strzelichowska (known as Kornelia Ski), filed in New York on 28 July, in which she denied making the alleged remarks used in the case. The defence announced plans to pursue defamation and possible criminal actions against those they claim gathered and disseminated the disputed material. The court set a deadline of 18:00 on the day of the ruling for the child’s delivery.
The dispute has drawn significant media attention due to Del Vecchio’s status as the founder of Luxottica and the high‑profile nature of the family conflict.
