Leonardo Mancuso linked to Catania and Pescara as Serie C clubs target striker

Italian Serie C clubs Catania Calcio and Delfino Pescara 1936 are both reported to be evaluating striker Leonardo Mancuso as a potential signing. The 31‑year‑old forward, currently on a two‑year contract with Mantova 1911 that expires this summer, has been linked to both clubs in recent transfer speculation.

Mancuso began his career in AC Milan’s youth system and has previously played for clubs including Pizzighettone, Carrarese, Cittadella, Catanzaro, Sambenedettese, Pescara, Empoli, Monza, Como and Palermo. He spent the 2017‑19 seasons at Pescara, scoring 28 goals in 74 appearances, and has been the top scorer for Mantova in the last two Serie C campaigns (10 goals in 38 matches and 8 goals in 36 matches). Both Catania and Pescara view his experience, physical presence and goal‑scoring record as assets to strengthen their attacking lines for the remainder of the season.
