Leonardo, Autostrade per l’Italia, and Reale Mutua receive welfare excellence awards

Autostrade per l’Italia, Leonardo, and Reale Mutua have been named the first recipients of the Italian Welfare Excellence award. The recognition was presented by the Osservatorio Italian Welfare during the third Global Welfare Summit held in Rome.

The award evaluates organizations based on the quality and completeness of their welfare systems and their ability to generate social impact. Stefano Castrignanò, president of the Osservatorio Italian Welfare, stated that these companies serve as models to help reduce the welfare gap in the national market.

Leonardo’s Chief People & Organization Officer, Antonio Liotti, highlighted that the company’s welfare strategy is a key component of its people strategy, focusing on health, psychological well-being, and family support. The company currently employs approximately 67,000 people globally and plans to hire 17,000 more over the next three years.

Autostrade per l’Italia’s Human Capital & Organization Director, Antonio Cavallera, noted that their model is built on dialogue with employees and unions, offering benefits such as parental support, flexible working arrangements, and training.
