Leonardo Storck travels to North America for US Open junior

Brazilian tennis player Leonardo Storck, 17, has traveled to North America to compete in a series of junior tournaments. His primary objective is the US Open in New York, scheduled to begin on September 6.

Prior to the US Open, Storck will participate in the J300 tournament in Repentigny, Canada, starting August 29. The Canadian event is played on hard courts, providing preparation for the Grand Slam surface. Storck, currently ranked 22nd in the junior world rankings, recently reached the semifinals at Roland Garros and has also begun appearing in professional rankings after earning his first professional point in São Paulo.

Additionally, Rio Tennis Academy athlete Carlos Eduardo Lino is competing in the J60 tournament in São Paulo on clay courts. Lino advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Kilian Castell.
