Leonel Lirio honored at RD Fashion Week opening

The 17th edition of RD Fashion Week commenced at the Hotel Marriott Santo Domingo Piantini, featuring a special tribute to designer Leonel Lirio for his 40-year career in the Dominican fashion industry.

During the inaugural night, Lirio shared the runway with Melkis Díaz and Alejandro Fajardo. The event aimed to honor established creators while providing a platform for new generations of designers. Melkis Díaz, director of RD Fashion Week, stated that the platform seeks to create a space where the experience of veteran creators and the proposals of new generations coexist.
