Leonel “N” linked to criminal process for alleged sexual abuse in San Luis Potosí

The State Attorney General's Office of San Luis Potosí has formally linked Leonel “N” to a criminal proceeding for the alleged qualified sexual abuse of a minor. The arrest was carried out by investigation police in the municipality of Tamazunchale.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on July 24, 2026, in the municipality of Tampacán. The suspect allegedly took the minor to a room to commit sexual acts and used threats to ensure the victim's silence. A judge has ordered mandatory pretrial detention for the suspect and established a two-month period for complementary investigations.
