Leonforte police hold cybersecurity awareness meeting

Police officials in Leonforte met with parents and teachers from the ‘G. Giusti Sinopoli’ State Comprehensive Institute to discuss online safety and crime prevention. The initiative, led by Commissioner Francesco Muffoletto and the Enna Cyber Security Operational Section, focused on promoting a culture of legality.

Postal Police officers addressed specific digital threats affecting minors, including cyberbullying, online grooming, and the illicit distribution of personal content. The session emphasized the educational role of families and educators in preventing these behaviors. Additionally, officials discussed common online scams targeting the elderly, providing guidance on how to recognize and avoid such fraudulent activities.
