Leopard Racing wins appeal for Adrian Fernandez in Moto3

The FIM International Court of Appeal has overturned the disqualifications of Spanish Moto3 rider Adrian Fernandez from the first six races of the 2026 season. The ruling follows an appeal by the Leopard Racing team regarding technical infringements involving two Honda engines, numbered 810 and 811.

Originally, stewards had stripped Fernandez of his results after determining that the engine seals showed signs of unauthorized tampering. The decision had removed two second-place finishes from his record. With the appeal successful, Fernandez will have 77 points reinstated, moving him from 14th to 5th place in the championship standings.

While the ruling significantly alters the battle for positions behind the championship leader, Maximo Quiles, it does not affect the title race, which Quiles has already secured.
