Lepa Lukić discusses personal struggles and family conflict

Singer Lepa Lukić has shared personal details regarding her past struggles with family and health. She revealed that at age 22, she made the difficult decision to terminate a pregnancy, believing she would have the opportunity to become a mother later in life. She noted that she has since faced difficulties conceiving, which led her to temporarily step away from her singing career to focus on medical examinations.

Lukić also addressed public speculation regarding her relationship with the late singer Toma Zdravković. She clarified that while she was pregnant at the time, she and Zdravković were never in a romantic relationship and were exclusively friends.

Additionally, the singer spoke about facing physical abuse and opposition from her brother during the early stages of her career. She stated that her brother, an economics engineer, attempted to prevent her from singing in taverns and used physical violence to discourage her. Lukić noted that he eventually expressed regret after she achieved professional success.
