LEPAS conducts international testing of L4, L6, and L8 models in Wuhu

More than 300 international testers are participating in a driving evaluation program for the LEPAS vehicle lineup in Wuhu, China. Running from October 18 to 24, the event is part of the first Global Elegant Lifestyle Week organized alongside the CHERY International User Summit 2026.

The testing involves the L4, L6, and L8 models, including electric and plug-in hybrid variants. Participants, acting as “test drive ambassadors,” are evaluating road behavior, steering response, power delivery, and stability across various conditions, ranging from urban traffic to challenging road surfaces.

A key focus of the program is the assessment of automated systems, such as automatic parking and the “Super Intelligent Valet Parking” feature on the L8 PHEV. Feedback from testers—representing markets including Italy, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Brazil, Indonesia, and South Africa—will be used to refine onboard technologies and customer services.
