LEPAS enters UAE market and debuts AURA concept car

LEPAS, a premium brand from China’s Chery Group, has officially launched in the United Arab Emirates through exclusive distributor Al Ghurair Mobility. The brand is introducing its flagship L8 SUV, which is available in both internal combustion and plug-in hybrid versions. The L8 Super Hybrid claims a driving range of up to 1,300 km on a full tank and charge. The L8 features Level 2 driver-assistance technology with over 20 functions, including automated parking. Other models in the lineup include the smaller L4 and a planned L6 mid-size SUV expected in 2027.

In conjunction with its brand expansion, LEPAS has also debuted the AURA concept vehicle at the Global Elegance Night in Wuhu, China. The AURA is a premium New Energy Vehicle (NEV) designed under the brand’s ‘Leopard Aesthetics’ philosophy. The concept car features a design inspired by the movements of a leopard, characterized by a wide stance, short overhangs, and interactive lighting technology.
