Lepas launches L8 hybrid SUV in Italy and announces lifestyle event

Lepas, a premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand under Chery Auto, is expanding its presence with the launch of the L8 plug-in hybrid SUV in Italy. The L8 features a 279 CV powertrain, combining a 1.5 turbo engine with electric motors to achieve a total range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. The vehicle is available in two trims, Essence and Elegance, with prices starting at 41,700 euros.

To support its brand positioning, Lepas will host the inaugural Global Elegant Lifestyle Week in October during the 2026 Chery International User Summit. The event aims to transition the brand from a pure automotive manufacturer to a lifestyle brand, focusing on pillars such as Leopard Aesthetics, Elegant Technology, and Exquisite Space. The brand has already engaged in various cultural activities globally, including presence at film festivals in Venice and London, and equestrian events in Malaysia.
