Lepas launches L8 hybrid SUV in Spain and Indonesia

Chinese automaker Lepas introduced its flagship L8 plug‑in hybrid SUV to two new markets. In Spain the L8 entered the mid‑size SUV segment with an entry‑level Essence trim priced at €33,990 and a higher‑spec Elegance version from €36,490. The model features a 13.2‑inch central display, a Snapdragon 8155 processor, 19‑inch alloy wheels (20‑inch on Elegance), full‑LED headlights, a 540° camera system and a 7‑year warranty. Its hybrid powertrain delivers 279 hp, a 90‑km electric‑only range and a combined fuel consumption of 2.2 L/100 km.

In Indonesia the L8 PHEV was launched with a price of Rp589 million (on‑the‑road in Jakarta). It combines a 1.5‑litre gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total output of 315 hp and 365 Nm of torque. The vehicle offers a pure‑electric range of about 100 km and a combined range of up to 1,300 km, supported by an 18.3 kWh lithium‑ion battery with IP68/IPX9K protection. Local specs include a 4.688‑metre length, 1.860‑metre width, a 2.2 kW V2L system, Level 2 ADAS, and automatic parking assistance.
