Lepas opens first electric vehicle dealer in Medan

Electric vehicle brand Lepas has officially expanded its presence in Indonesia by opening its first dealer in Medan, North Sumatra, named Lepas Majesty Krakatau. Operated under PT Majesty Mega Automotive, the facility is located on Jalan Gunung Krakatau and utilizes a 3S concept, providing sales, service, and spare parts.

The expansion comes amid significant economic growth in the region. According to BPS data, Medan's economy grew by 5.10 percent in 2025, with the transportation sector specifically seeing an 11.24 percent increase. North Sumatra's provincial transportation sector also recorded a growth of 10.74 percent.

Temmy Wiradjaja, Vice Country Director of Lepas Indonesia, stated that Medan is a strategic hub for mobility development in Sumatra. The new facility covers a building area of 4,388 square meters on a 1,500 square meter plot, allowing customers to view products, conduct test drives, and access after-sales services in one location.
