Lepas unveils Aura concept and expands electric vehicle lineup

Chery Group’s premium electric vehicle brand, Lepas, has unveiled its first global concept car, the Aura, during the inaugural Global Elegant Lifestyle Week in Wuhu, China. The Aura concept introduces the brand’s ‘Leopard Aesthetics’ design language, featuring leopard-inspired headlamps, a long wheelbase, and customizable light screens on the front and rear fascia.

In addition to the concept reveal, Lepas conducted real-world technology demonstrations and test drives for over 300 global ambassadors. These sessions showcased the L6 EV and L8 PHEV models, highlighting features such as automated parking assist (APA), remote parking assist (RPA), and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology.

The brand is also targeting international expansion, with plans to introduce the L6 EV and E6 models to the Indonesian market. The L6 EV was recently put through a 700-kilometer endurance test from Shanghai to Wuhu to demonstrate its driving dynamics and charging performance.
