L’Eroica cycling events held in Gaiole in Chianti and Monteroni d’Arbia

The L’Eroica cycling event continues its activities in the province of Siena. In Gaiole in Chianti, the 29th edition is set to host approximately 9,000 cyclists on October 3 and 4, 2026. Pre-event festivities beginning October 2 will include a vintage bicycle elegance contest, a ‘Mini Eroica’ pedal for children supported by the Italian Cycling Federation, and a ‘Barba e Baffi’ (Beard and Mustache) contest.

In Monteroni d’Arbia, competitive races for junior and novice categories have concluded. In the second-year novice men's race, Diego Della Polla secured his thirteenth victory, finishing ahead of Vincenzo Vito and Niccolò Coletta. Roberta Cesaro won the women's novice category, while Anna Teriaca took first place in the allievi category.
