Senegal's SN ADS SA denies Dakar-Kaolack toll rate rumors

The Société nationale autoroutes du Sénégal (SN ADS SA) has issued a formal denial regarding rumors circulating on social media concerning toll rates for the Dakar-Kaolack highway. The company clarified that the reported round-trip rate of 15,000 FCFA is incorrect.

According to the official statement, the actual rate for a private vehicle on the 184 km Dakar-Kaolack route is 6,500 FCFA, which equates to 35 FCFA per kilometer. For the newly opened Mbour-Kaolack section, the rate for the same category of vehicle is 3,000 FCFA for 100 km, or 30 FCFA per kilometer.

The SN ADS SA stated that these rates are designed as social tariffs to ensure accessibility for the greatest number of people. The company urged the public to rely exclusively on official information channels to avoid misinformation.
