Leroy Sané faces disciplinary meeting at Galatasaray

Galatasaray Istanbul management has called a meeting with Leroy Sané to address his recent lack of performance. The German winger has struggled in the current season, recording no goals or assists in seven competitive appearances.

The club leadership and coaching staff intend to discuss the reasons behind his decline in form ahead of critical upcoming matches against Kasımpaşa in the Süper Lig and FC Barcelona in the Champions League. Failure to improve could result in Sané being excluded from the squad.

Sané joined Galatasaray from FC Bayern München in the summer of 2025 and has a contract running until 2028. During his first season, he recorded 16 goal involvements in 43 matches. Amidst his current struggles, reports suggest that the Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah is monitoring his situation and may prepare an offer for the January transfer window.
