Lerry Gnoli accused of death threats following fatal bulldozer accident

Lerry Gnoli, a 55-year-old man currently on trial for the manslaughter of Elisa Spadavecchia, has been reported to the Carabinieri for allegedly making death threats against two employees of the Cooperativa Bagnini di Cervia.

The incident reportedly occurred in Milano Marittima around midday earlier this week. The complainants, a supervisor and his deputy who were inspecting dune construction works, claim Gnoli approached them on foot and shouted, “I will send you both to the cemetery.” The two men fled the scene in their vehicle out of fear.

Gnoli is accused of killing the 66-year-old tourist on May 24, 2025, in Pinarella di Cervia when he struck her with a bulldozer while she was sunbathing. Prosecutors allege that at the time of the fatal accident, Gnoli was working without authorization, driving without a license due to a previous fatal accident, had not secured the construction site, and was under the influence of cocaine.

Following the expiration of certain custodial terms, Gnoli was recently released from prison under house arrest in Cervia, with restrictions including a curfew between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM and mandatory check-ins three times a week.
