Former long-term champion Emilien, who earned over 2.5 million euros across 647 participations, famously wore mismatched socks and placed his trophy in a specific position to attract luck.

The current champion, Sébastien, has reached his 32nd participation with a prize pool of 114,208 euros. During a recent broadcast, Reichmann challenged the 41-year-old contestant to a physical test involving push-ups after noting his high energy levels. Sébastien, a former sanitation worker and animal park guide, has expressed that even those who do not believe in superstitions often find themselves adopting them during the competition.
