Les Aigles du Congo arrive in Kigali for CAF Champions League match
The football club Les Aigles du Congo has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to face APR FC in the CAF Champions League. The delegation traveled from Kinshasa via an Ethiopian Airlines charter flight on Friday, September 11, 2026.
The trip was previously delayed due to uncertainties regarding landing authorizations, with discussions involving health measures related to the Ebola virus. Following official clearance, the team arrived in the Rwandan capital to prepare for the match at Amahoro Stadium.
Les Aigles du Congo enter the second leg with a 1-0 advantage following a victory in the first leg held in Lubumbashi, where Zemanga Soze scored the winning goal. The club is competing for qualification for the second preliminary round of the tournament.
