Les Bizots inaugurates new town hall

The commune of Les Bizots held an inauguration ceremony for its new town hall, attended by approximately 250 guests, including local officials, ministers, and regional leaders. Mayor Jean-Paul Luard highlighted the project as a significant investment in the commune's ongoing development and dynamism.

The construction cost a total of €665,000, supported by €185,118 from rural territory grants and €125,000 from the Saône-et-Loire departmental council. The new building was designed to meet environmental standards using bio-sourced materials.

Isabelle Louis, president of the CUCM, emphasized the importance of the town hall as a vital symbol of public service and social cohesion in small communes. Sophie Clément, vice-president of the departmental council, noted that the department has dedicated €11 million to support rural sectors through project funding initiatives.
