Les Gets MTB World Series sees Boichis victory and Squarise personal best

The MTB World Series held in Les Gets featured significant results in both short track and cross-country disciplines, serving as a final major test before the World Championships in Val di Sole.

In the Under 23 short track event, Italian rider Laura Squarise secured 25th place, marking her best World Cup result in this specialty. This performance moves her to 27th in the general classification.

In the elite men's cross-country race, Boichis claimed victory after a decisive attack in the final lap, narrowly defeating Mathieu van der Poel, who finished second. Vidaurre took third, followed by Martin in fourth and Simone Avondetto in fifth. Luca Braidot also achieved a top-10 finish, placing 9th.

In the elite women's race, Sina Frei secured a win after a sprint finish against Jenny Rissveds.
