The association Les Petits frères des pauvres provides social support to elderly individuals facing isolation. In Saint-Dizier, team leader Peggy Racqueville has maintained a weekly or bi-weekly connection with Edwige, a 79-year-old woman, for two years.

To ensure consistent support, the association utilizes a pairing system where multiple members visit a single individual, preventing isolation during staff holidays or illness. Beyond routine visits for administrative help, grocery shopping, and companionship, the association also organizes annual trips, such as a recent excursion to Burgundy, to help seniors reconnect with the world.
