Les Petits Frères des Pauvres seeks volunteers for community initiative in Gers

The organization Les Petits Frères des Pauvres is seeking volunteers for ‘La Baraque à Frat’’, an intergenerational initiative designed to foster social connection and combat isolation among the elderly in the Gers region of France.

These monthly, itinerant meetings take place in Nogaro and Eauze, providing a space for residents, including seniors, caregivers, and youth, to gather for activities such as cinema outings, board games, health prevention workshops, and social gatherings. Volunteers are needed to assist with activity animation, hospitality, and providing solidarity-based transportation for seniors with mobility challenges.
