Lescars launches electronic solar-powered parking disc

Lescars has introduced an electronic solar-powered parking disc that features automatic time setting. The device is equipped with a three-axis gyroscope and a vibration sensor, which triggers the parking disc to set the arrival time approximately 20 seconds after a vehicle comes to a complete stop.

The product is designed for flexibility, utilizing magnetic attachments that allow it to be moved between up to three different vehicles, such as cars, motorhomes, or convertibles. It includes two displays: a front display for viewing the arrival time and a rear display for adjustments. Users can choose to display the time precisely or rounded up to the nearest 15 or 30 minutes. The device also automatically adjusts for daylight savings time.

For power, the disc uses integrated solar cells to continuously charge its battery, though it also supports USB-C charging for use in dark environments like garages. The device has received ECE approval and official authorization from the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt in accordance with StVO, making it legal for use in road traffic.
