LeSean McCoy exits ‘Special Forces’ after less than 24 hours

LeSean McCoy has withdrawn from the fifth season of the Fox reality series ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’ less than 24 hours after the season began. McCoy, a former NFL running back, cited frustrations with mosquitoes and the requirement to use makeshift outdoor bathrooms as his reasons for leaving.

Instructor Jovon ‘Q’ Quarles, a former Navy SEAL, expressed significant frustration regarding the exit. Quarles stated that because celebrity recruits receive the same pay regardless of their duration on the course, he felt McCoy ‘stole’ money from the directing staff who design the challenges. Quarles described himself as ‘livid’ over the decision.

Fellow recruit George Santos also criticized the departure, calling McCoy’s decision ‘very disappointing.’ Santos remarked that while other participants faced medical issues or physical struggles, McCoy’s refusal to use the outdoor facilities made him appear unable to handle the pressure of the program.
