Lesley-Ann Jones cancels Bienal do Livro appearance

Lesley-Ann Jones, the biographer of Freddie Mercury, has canceled her scheduled appearance at the 28th Bienal do Livro in São Paulo. Jones was set to participate in panels and autograph sessions on September 10 and 11 to promote her book, ‘Com Amor, Freddie’.

According to a statement from the publisher and the event organizers, Jones was unable to board her flight due to air traffic control issues in the United Kingdom that resulted in hundreds of flight cancellations. The Bienal has not yet announced any replacements for her scheduled programming.
