Leslie Bibb joins Camila Mendes in Upgraded 2

Leslie Bibb has been cast in the upcoming romantic comedy Upgraded 2, starring alongside Camila Mendes. The sequel to the 2024 film is scheduled to begin production in Italy this month.

Camila Mendes will return as the lead actress and a producer. The project will be directed by Becca Gleason, with a screenplay written by Luke Roberts and Justin Matthews, the writers of the original film. Amazon MGM Studios has secured worldwide distribution rights, and the movie will be released on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

While specific plot details for the sequel remain under wraps, the original film centered on an ambitious art auction house intern who misrepresented her professional status during a trip to London. Production involves several companies, including Gulfstream Pictures, Honor Role, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Tempo Productions.
