Leslie Bibb to star in new HBO dark comedy ‘The Rush Whisperer’

HBO is developing a new dark comedy titled ‘The Rush Whisperer’, starring and executive producing Leslie Bibb. The series is set within the competitive environment of sorority recruitment.

The project is based on a New York Magazine article by Grey Battle titled ‘How Much Would You Pay for Friendship? Private Rush Coaches are Selling Teens the Sorority Dream’. The script is being co-written by Kelly Hutchinson and Grace Parra.

Executive producers include Bibb, Hutchinson, Parra, Kristen Campo, and Daniel Simon for Campout Productions, as well as Scoop Wasserstein for New York Magazine/Vox Media Studios. Grey Battle will serve as a consulting producer.
