Leslie Parrish, actress of ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Batman’, dies at 90

Actress Leslie Parrish has died at the age of 90. While her passing occurred in the state of Washington in late 2025, the news was only made public recently following confirmation by Erica Berdan, the daughter of Parrish’s second husband, writer Richard Bach.

Born Marjorie Hellen in 1935, Parrish began her career as a model in New York before signing with 20th Century Fox in 1954. She rose to prominence in the late 1950s, notably playing Daisy Mae in the 1959 film ‘Li’l Abner’. Her career included significant roles in ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ (Sob o Domínio do Mal), which she cited as a favorite, as well as appearances in ‘Star Trek’ and the ‘Batman’ television series.

Beyond her film and television work with studios such as MGM, Parrish was involved in audiovisual production and supported various social causes, including the anti-war movement and natural area conservation.
