Lesoir releases new single ‘Hidden Fire’ ahead of upcoming album

Dutch band Lesoir has released the single ‘Hidden Fire’, the latest preview of their upcoming seventh studio album, ‘Tomorrow Is Now Today’. The album is scheduled for release on October 23 via V2 Records.

The track ‘Hidden Fire’ addresses themes of passive music consumption, the rise of AI-generated content, and the loss of artistic identity within a landscape of background noise. Musically, the song blends progressive and art rock elements, featuring theatrical vocals by Maartje Meessen, flute, strings, and a guitar solo.

The new album was produced by John Cornfield, known for his work with Muse and Oasis, with vocal production by Paul Reeve and mastering by Steve Kitch. This single follows previous releases ‘Back To You’, which referenced Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and ‘Is It Nothing?’, which explored environmental responsibility through the Gaia theory.
