Marco Frigo signs with UAE Team Emirates-XRG through 2028

Several professional cycling transfers have been confirmed for the upcoming seasons.

Italian cyclist Marco Frigo has signed a two-year contract with UAE Team Emirates-XRG, set to begin in the 2027 season and running through the end of 2028. Frigo, 26, joins from the NSN Cycling Team. Known for his versatility in stage races and classics, Frigo previously secured a professional victory at the 2025 Tour of the Alps and completed his first Tour de France in 2026. He is expected to provide support for team leader Tadej Pogačar while also pursuing individual opportunities in breakaways and one-day races.

In women’s cycling, Letizia Paternoster will join the American team Human Powered Health following the conclusion of the 2026 season. The 27-year-old Italian rider has signed a contract through 2028, moving from Liv AlUla Jayco. Paternoster, a former track world champion, aims to focus on the spring Classics and Grand Tours, following strong performances such as a fourth-place finish at the Amstel Gold Race.
