Letti Cole Memorial Fundraiser Launched After 5-Year-Old Drowns in Worcestershire

Five‑year‑old Letti Cole disappeared from Badsey, near Evesham in Worcestershire, on 29 July and was later found unresponsive in a local waterway, where police confirmed she died from drowning. The tragic incident prompted an outpouring of tributes from the community.

A GoFundMe campaign was created to fund a permanent memorial for Letti, quickly raising over £8,700. Organisers, including her aunt Hayley Newton, hope the funds will enable a special place to remember the girl, while thanking volunteers who assisted in the search and support efforts.
