Leuven prepares for 76th annual fair

The city of Leuven is preparing for its 76th annual fair, scheduled for Monday, September 7. The event is expected to attract approximately 100,000 visitors and features a variety of traditional and modern activities.

Musical performances are a central part of the program. Artists Laura Lynn and Christoff are scheduled to perform at Martelarenplein in the late afternoon, while Sam Gooris will perform at Café Jeeskesboom. Other entertainment includes DJ sets and various local café festivities.

Traditional elements include a livestock competition and artisanal displays at Sint-Jacobsplein, where farmers from across Flanders will showcase their work and local products such as honey and fruit juice. For younger visitors, the event offers dedicated children's activities, including a straw mountain, bouncy castles, and educational sessions about healthy nutrition.
