Levadiakos sets scoring record in 0-0 draw against Volos
Levadiakos and Volos played to a 0-0 draw in a Super League match that saw Levadiakos set a historic negative record. The team has now gone seven consecutive matches without scoring, becoming the first club in the history of the Greek top flight to fail to score in the first seven games of a season. This surpasses the previous record held by Panachaiki, who went six games without a goal in the 2002-03 season.
The match was marked by significant disciplinary issues and VAR interventions. Volos played with ten men from the 28th minute after Bare received a red card following a VAR review. Levadiakos had a goal by Ursi disallowed in the 45th minute due to an offside call involving Emmanouilidis. Later, in the 84th minute, Volos also fell to ten men after Elneni received a second yellow card.
Both teams remain at the bottom of the standings. Levadiakos holds two points, while Volos sits at zero due to a prior three-point deduction. The draw prevents both sides from securing their first victory of the current season.
