Levadiakos defeats Asteras Tripolis 2-0 to advance in Greek Cup

Levadiakos secured a place in the Greek Cup League Phase following a 2-0 victory over Asteras Tripolis. The match was defined by a standout performance from 26-year-old Argentine midfielder Agustin Ursi, who scored both goals in the 43rd and 63rd minutes.

Asteras Tripolis faced significant challenges after Silva was sent off in the 34th minute for a foul near the penalty area, forcing the team to play with ten men for much of the match. The win also marks a successful debut for Levadiakos coach Ilias Charalampous, who recently replaced Nikos Papadopoulos.

The match featured a notable application of a new regulation when Ursi, after scoring his second goal, delayed his substitution in the 71st minute, resulting in a one-minute penalty before the substitute, Vrakas, entered the pitch.
