Levadiakos faces contract dispute and disciplinary probe

Levadiakos FC is facing multiple legal and disciplinary challenges involving player registration and contract disputes.

Adrian Mititelu, owner of FCU Craiova, has announced plans to take Juan Bauza and Levadiakos to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Mititelu claims Bauza unilaterally terminated his contract with FCU Craiova to join the Greek club, bypassing an €8 million release clause. Mititelu intends to pursue the case via the Dublin route to apply European law, arguing that FIFA regulations regarding contract breaches conflict with European legislation.

Separately, Levadiakos is under investigation by the Greek Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee following a Greek Cup victory against Asteras Tripolis. Opponents have filed an official protest alleging that the club used an ineligible player, Moses David Cobnan, who was reportedly not on the official match sheet. If the allegations are proven, Levadiakos could face disqualification from the Greek Cup, fines between €8,000 and €40,000, and a point deduction in the league standings.
