Levante defeats Athletic Club 3-1 in LaLiga match

Levante UD secured a 3-1 victory against Athletic Club in a rescheduled LaLiga EA Sports sixth-round fixture held at the Estadi Ciutat de València. The match, which had been postponed due to heavy rain, saw Levante break a five-game winless streak.

Roger Brugué was the standout performer for the hosts, scoring two goals within a two-minute span during the first half. Etta Eyong added a third goal in stoppage time to seal the win. For Athletic Club, Alex Berenguer converted a penalty in the 67th minute to briefly narrow the gap, but the visitors were left to struggle with a man disadvantage following the red card shown to Aymeric Laporte in the 73rd minute.
