Levante UD resolves player registration issues amid financial constraints

Levante UD is navigating registration issues and financial constraints under manager Luís Castro. Following recent registration hurdles that prevented new signings from playing in the opening matchday, the club has successfully registered seven new players. New arrivals Hugo Sotelo and Thiago Fernández confirmed that the club provided assurance during the registration process, which has now been resolved with LaLiga.

Despite these additions, manager Luís Castro has indicated that the club's financial situation, dictated by Financial Fair Play regulations, may necessitate player departures. Castro stated that the club is in a position where it may need to sell players to manage its squad and finances, noting that “there are clubs that have to buy and there are clubs that have to sell.” He emphasized that any future signings will be highly selective and dependent on outgoing transfers, including the potential departure of Kareem Tundeen.
