Levante UD signs French winger Zadig Bendiab to long‑term contract

Levante UD announced the signing of 16‑year‑old French winger Zadig Bendiab from the Dunkerke academy. The deal runs until 2028 with two optional extra seasons, marking a long‑term commitment to the young talent.

Bendiab chose Levante over interest from Cádiz CF, citing the club’s prestige and its place in LaLiga as key factors. He will divide his time between Levante’s Juvenil A squad and the reserve team, with the aim of reaching the first‑team roster as quickly as possible.

Representative Vincenzo Rennella highlighted Bendiab’s “very good vision, superior technique and a left foot that can place the ball wherever he wants,” adding that his work ethic and defensive contribution set him apart. Coach Luis Castro is expected to oversee his development under the club’s plan to promote home‑grown talent.
