At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Level-5 provided a hands-on demonstration of its upcoming title, ‘Decapolis’, which is scheduled for release in 2027. The gameplay takes place in a virtual space called ‘DECASIM’, a digital copy of the real world where characters appear as puppets due to a system anomaly.

The gameplay loop consists of investigation, deduction, and combat phases. During the investigation, players use the ‘DECA Scanner’ to collect physical and human evidence. This is followed by a deduction phase where players use an ‘Evidence Board’ to connect clues and complete a ‘Thinking Cube’ to uncover the truth. The experience concludes with a tactical battle where players must use both physical and psychological attacks to apprehend the culprit.
