Levente Szász discusses AI impact on corporate processes and jobs

Levente Szász, Vice-Rector of Babeș-Bolyai University and coordinator of the Romanian Economic Monitor, discusses the impact of artificial intelligence on corporate processes and the labor market.

Szász notes that fears regarding job security are justified, particularly for roles involving repetitive, algorithmic office tasks such as data entry, basic translation, documentation review, and writing code. While these positions may not disappear entirely, AI is increasingly capable of handling the majority of their core tasks.

To adapt to this changing environment, workers in vulnerable sectors are encouraged to pursue upskilling or reskilling to remain competitive in the evolving workforce.
