Levi Garcia to miss Panathinaikos derby against Olympiacos

Panathinaikos forward Levi Garcia will miss the upcoming derby against Olympiacos due to an injury. Medical examinations, including an MRI, confirmed a first-degree (1B) tear in the biceps femoris of his left leg.

The 28-year-old attacker sustained the injury while playing for the Trinidad and Tobago national team. He is expected to be sidelined for approximately two to three weeks to undergo treatment and recovery.

Panathinaikos medical staff intend to manage his recovery carefully to avoid further complications, given his history of muscle injuries. The team will have several options to cover his absence in the attacking lineup, including players like Vitente Tamborda and Jakob Nystrup.
