Leviathan Metals confirms copper sulphides at Botswana Central Project

Leviathan Metals has completed a diamond drilling program at its 100%-owned Central Project in Botswana’s Kalahari Copper Belt. The program involved 14 holes totaling approximately 3,600 metres of drilling.

Geological results indicate that the target D’Kar-Ngwako Pan Formation (DKF-NPF) contact was present in all but two of the holes. Copper sulphides were visually observed in eight of the holes. The drilling also confirmed a previously identified domal structure, which the company’s geological team believes may host pathways and trap sites for mineralizing fluids due to evidence of veining, brecciation, and alteration.

The Central Project directly adjoins MMG’s Khoemacau deposits. Following the completion of this initial phase, Leviathan plans to conduct further step-out drilling as part of a larger 10,000-metre program to target potential sediment-hosted copper mineralization.
