Levica party criticizes SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE duopoly
The Levica political party has issued a statement criticizing the two largest political entities in North Macedonia, SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE, following their participation in the public forum ‘What after 35 years?’. Levica claims that the two major parties have operated in a political duopoly for decades and are unable to accept an authentic political force that is not affiliated with either of them.
Levica leaders accused Hristijan Mickoski and Zoran Filipce of attempting to frame the party as a satellite or part of their respective political orbits. The party maintains that it is an independent force born from a rejection of the current order and lacks the political baggage, corruption scandals, or criminal ties that they claim characterize the established leadership. Levica stated they do not seek legitimacy from old power centers and will continue to represent their own program without external influence.
